My wife came here swimming as a child and it is still one of our favourites Firstly it has a long I might regret telling the world about this mini paradise but it's too lovely to keep it to myself The beach of Kanatadika lies at the end of the road literally from Istiea. Just before the the road runs into the sea you can turn left or right to park the car. The beach has recently become more organized as old potter's workshops have been converted into beach side tavanas. My wife came here to swim as a child and the sandy beach with steady breeze is inviting. My wife had not been for a number of years as her family had protested about the illegal villas that had been built here.
Our family looks forward to hosting you! Great spot. This is the heart of the Thousand Islands. Close to Potter's beach, is situated on the most beautiful part of the river!
When swimming season is over or when a beach's water quality data has not been updated frequently enough weekly it goes into historical status. This means that rather than displaying current data it displays the beach's average water quality for that year. We may manually set the status for a specific beach if we have concerns about the sampling protocol, if there is an emergency, if monitoring practices don't exist or have recently changed, or other reasons that render this site "special.
